“I had an lovely dining experience at Suiran. The teppanyaki we enjoyed on our first night was nothing short of very nice, showcasing exquisite attention to detail and quality. On another evening, we dined at the main restaurant and were treated to beautifully presented dishes that were as delicious as they were aesthetically pleasing. While the location by the Hozugawa River was stunning and conveniently close to attractions like the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, the service could be inconsistent. The room's amenities were well thought out, especially the en-suite onsen, yet the overall cleanliness and maintenance left something to be desired, which was disappointing for a luxury hotel. Overall, I felt it provided a unique experience but could improve in certain areas.
